This is a great tutorial in the negative painting technique. This is where we paint the background and just the little details on the flowers. We also play with the texture of the background with using salt and glad wrap to create texture. Purchase the A4 pre printed watercolour paper HERE (allow 1 week for postage time)

This is a great lesson in layering your watercolours using the tea, milk and honey method. It is also a great lesson in loosening up and featuring the parts of the artwork that are important and leaving the less important things in a blurry background.
